The largest scanner captures the smallest detail! You will probably never see a larger scanner than KartoScan FB VLS in this univers. Special made to scan J-size engineering drawings it offers a 4900 mm x 1820 mm scanning surface. As the KartoScan FB VLS uses the same camera technology as its smaller sister (FB V) they are both the most advanced and accurate capturing devices in the image processing industry. They operate with a variable true optical resolution giving a one to one relation between the pixel size on the original and a pixel in the CCD array.
